I have been recording location sound since 1984, primarily as a small crew specialist, but with the gear and experience to mix larger jobs, as well.

My career has offered me some wonderful opportunities to travel to exotic places and many chances to learn a little about an amazing variety of things.

I have recorded sound for many documentaries seen on Discovery, Nova, Scientific American, National Geographic Explorer, and elsewhere. I have also been the sound recordist on countless stories and news segments seen on Dateline, 48 Hours, The PBS NewsHour (formerly The NewsHour with Jim Lehrer), NBC’s Evening News and The Today Show, and HD-Net’s World Report.
